Dr. Amy Melamet - Chiropractor

Having worked in the Petersham area for over 10 years, Eastern Suburbs & Inner West Chiropractor, Amy started Crystal Street Family Chiropractic in Petersham in 2012 and opened a second chiropractic clinic in the Eastern Suburbs.
After 5 years of study at Macquarie University to complete a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Chiropractic, including treating patients in the Macquarie Park and Summer Hill university outpatient clinic, Amy continued her education completing courses in pregnancy chiropractic and in women's health. She is certified in Webster Technique, a gentle and effective technique for treatment of women during pregnancy, to balance the pelvis and relieve the back. Amy also had a keen interest in sport-related treatment and uses Dry Needling and Rocktape to help in the healing and activation of muscles and joints. Amy's interest in overall wellness, including nutrition led her to pursue further study in Applied Kinesiology, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Neuro-Emotional Technique. She has also completed courses in dizziness and balance disorders and Scoliosis management as part of her continuing professional development.
As well as working in the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs, Amy has previously worked in chiropractic clinics in the Northern Beaches. She has also guest lectured & is currently a University tutor for the Chiropractic Department at Macquarie University, tutoring in Microbiology, Neuromuscular Diagnosis and Pathology to 2nd and 3rd year Science and Chiropractic students.
Amy has a friendly and gentle nature and a dedication to complete health and wellbeing.

Olivia is a very passionate and highly motivated individual who aims to help those get out of pain and return to their goals. Believing in a holistic approach to health care, she implements a range of techniques including soft tissue techniques, dry needling, mobilisations, adjustments and exercise-based rehabilitation. Olivia has keen interests in sports care, rehabilitation, women's health, paediatrics and pregnancy care.
